Telegram bot

Get every Trump post as a Telegram message within seconds, then filter by relevance score or post type.

Setting up

You can start from either side:

  • From the website: choose the Telegram plan on covfefe.app and complete checkout. The confirmation page (and your email) has a one-time Open Telegram link that connects your subscription to your Telegram account.
  • From Telegram: open @CovfefeAppBot and tap Start. The bot replies with a checkout link tied to your Telegram account. Once you've paid, it confirms you're subscribed.

Both start a 7-day free trial. A card is required, and you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel.

  • The first part arrives as soon as the post is detected. The 📊 lines are added to the same message about 2 seconds later.
  • 🎬 Video and 🖼 Image in the first line show the post type. ReTruths start with 🔁 and name the original author.
  • ⚠️ delayed means the post was picked up more than 10 minutes after it was made.
  • For video posts, the score and description may improve a little later, once Truth Social has made the video's preview frame. The message updates in place.

Commands

Filtering by score

With a threshold set, each alert waits about 2 seconds for its score before it's sent:

  • At or above your threshold: you get the alert as usual.
  • Below it: it's skipped. With silent, it's delivered without a notification sound instead.
  • If scoring fails (rare), you get the alert anyway. Covfefe never drops a post because the scoring step had a problem.

Muting post types

/mute video skips video posts, unless one scores 8 or higher. A muted type still reaches you when it matters. For video posts, the higher score may only come once the preview frame has been analyzed, in which case the alert arrives then.

Mutes and thresholds combine: with /threshold 5 and /mute video, text and image posts need 5+, and videos need 8+.

Pausing and cancelling

  • To cancel, send /billing and use the billing portal. You keep alerts until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • If you block the bot, Covfefe stops sending until you message it again (any command works).
  • Alerts are sent only to you, in a private chat. The bot doesn't work in groups.

Troubleshooting

  • No alerts? Send /status. If it says no subscription is linked, send /start, or open the Open Telegram link from your confirmation email.
  • Link says invalid or used? Each link works once. Send /status to check you're connected, or email hello@covfefe.app.
  • Too many alerts? Try /threshold 5 and /mute video.
