Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information JW Tech LLC ("we") collects through Covfefe (the "Service"), how we use it, and your choices. We collect only what we need to run the Service.

What we collect

• Account and billing details: your email address and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Telegram: if you use the Telegram plan, your numeric Telegram user ID (so we know where to send alerts) and the commands you send the bot. We don't read other chats.
• Webhook settings: the endpoint URL you configure, and your API key and signing secret.
• Delivery records: a log of each alert we send you, with its status, timing, and any error, so you and we can troubleshoot.
• Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and request details), kept briefly for security and debugging. The webhook settings page uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

To provide and bill for the Service, deliver alerts, send service messages (for example your API key or Telegram connection link), respond to support requests, and keep the Service secure. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on these providers, which process data on our behalf:

• Stripe: payments and subscription management.
• Telegram: delivery of alerts to Telegram subscribers.
• Fly.io: application hosting.
• Neon: database hosting.
• Anthropic: generating relevance scores and summaries. Only the text of public posts is sent, never your personal information.
• Resend: transactional email.
• Cloudflare: DNS.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the Service.

Retention

We keep account data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing, tax, and legal purposes. Delivery records are kept for troubleshooting and may be deleted over time. Payment records are retained by Stripe under its own policies.

Your choices

You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. To access, correct, or delete your personal information, email hello@covfefe.app. We'll respond within 30 days and may need to confirm that the request comes from you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, webhook payloads are signed, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your credentials confidential.

Children

The Service isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is material, we'll give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
