Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Covfefe (the "Service"), operated by JW Tech LLC ("we", "us"). By starting a trial, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What the Service is

Covfefe watches the public Truth Social account @realDonaldTrump and notifies you of new posts by Telegram message or HTTP webhook. Most notifications are followed by an automatically generated "relevance" score, topic tags, named entities, and a one-line summary produced by an AI model.

Covfefe is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Truth Social, Trump Media & Technology Group, or Donald J. Trump. Posts are public content and remain the property of their authors.

Not investment advice

The Service provides information only. It is not investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, commodity, currency, or other asset. Relevance scores, tags, tickers, and summaries are machine-generated, can be wrong or incomplete, and must not be relied on as the basis for any financial decision. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions and their outcomes.

No guarantee of speed, completeness, or availability

We aim to deliver alerts within seconds, but we depend on third parties we don't control, including Truth Social, Telegram, hosting providers, and the endpoints you configure. Alerts may be delayed, missed, duplicated, or delivered out of order, and the Service may be unavailable at times. Alerts we detect late are marked "delayed". We offer no uptime or latency commitment.

Accounts and credentials

Webhook subscribers receive an API key and a signing secret. Keep them confidential; anyone who has them can change your webhook settings. You're responsible for activity under your credentials and for securing the endpoint you give us. Tell us promptly at hello@covfefe.app if you think your credentials have been exposed.

Acceptable use

You may use alerts for your own purposes, including personal trading decisions and quoting or reporting on individual posts. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its feed as a substitute or competing alert service; attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or use it in violation of any law.

Trials, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. New subscriptions may start with a free trial; a payment card is required, and you'll be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (in Telegram, send /billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial periods. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if we discontinue the Service. We may disable a webhook endpoint that keeps failing. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we'll refund any prepaid amount for the unused part of your current billing period.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JW TECH LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY DELAYED, MISSED, OR INACCURATE ALERT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify JW Tech LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll give reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
